Which certificates are validated?
The Canadian and U.S. certificate types that go through manual validation — and the ones that don't.
The following certificate types go through manual validation when a document is uploaded:
- Working at Heights
- First Aid & CPR
- CSTS 2020
- ASP Construction
- Skilled Trades BC
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 (U.S.)
- First Aid / CPR / AED (U.S.)
WHMIS 2015 and Red Seal are upload-only and are not sent for validation. U.S. employer-issued training records — Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, and Scaffold Safety — are not independently verifiable, so they skip the validation queue and show a Provided by Employer badge instead.
