Add worker requirements to a site
Specify which certificates and form questions workers need for a site.
Open a site and click Add Requirement to define what workers must have to be eligible. Choose either a certificate or a form requirement.
Certificate requirements
The certificate types you can require depend on your company's region setting. Canadian companies pick from seven types: ASP Construction, CSTS 2020, Working at Heights, First Aid & CPR, Skilled Trades BC, WHMIS 2015, and Red Seal. U.S. companies pick from eight types: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, First Aid / CPR / AED, and Scaffold Safety. Companies with the region set to Both see all fifteen. Workers who are missing a required certificate are flagged as Not Ready for this site.
Form requirements
Build a form with up to 5 questions, using four question types: Text, Yes/No, Acknowledgement (a checkbox with helper text), and Signature. You can start from a saved template instead of building from scratch.
Set the form's frequency — One-time (submitted once) or Daily (resets every day; workers with an outstanding daily form get a reminder push notification).
Editing requirements
Click the pencil icon next to any requirement to edit it after it's created.
Requirement checks aren't a one-time gate — readiness is recalculated continuously while the site is active, so a worker's status updates as soon as they submit a form or a certificate expires.
